What we collect
When you place an order, create an account, or contact us, we collect the information needed to do that: your name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number, and order details. If you browse the site without ordering, we collect standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, via cookies.
Payment information
Card details are entered directly into our payment gateway at checkout. Marqata LLC does not see or store your full card number, expiry date, or security code.
How we use your information
We use your information to process and ship orders, respond to support requests, and handle returns and warranty claims. We send transactional messages needed to confirm, fulfill and support your order. We send promotional emails only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe from marketing at any time. Optional newsletter requests are separate from orders and support. When the newsletter service is enabled, we send your email address and newsletter consent details to Hostinger Reach to process your request. Check your inbox for confirmation and use the unsubscribe link in a newsletter email to leave the list.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep items in your cart, keep you logged into your account, and understand basic site usage (such as which pages are visited). You can block cookies in your browser settings, but the cart and checkout may not work correctly without them.
Who we share data with
We share order information with the shipping carrier delivering your package and with our payment gateway to process payment. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
Data retention
We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting, warranty, and legal requirements, and delete or anonymize account data on request where we are not required to keep it.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@marqata.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children’s privacy
Marqata LLC is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the update.

Automated shopping assistance
Marqata offers an automated shopping assistant for product questions and public store information. When you send a message, your question, up to twelve recent conversation messages and relevant public product or store-page information are sent to Google Gemini to prepare a reply. Please avoid including payment-card details, passwords or sensitive personal information in chat messages. The assistant does not retrieve private customer orders or confirm payments.
The Marqata Guide plugin does not save chat transcripts on our server. A short conversation is kept in the current browser tab’s session storage so you can continue across store pages. It is cleared when you choose New conversation, when that tab session ends, or on the next page load after thirty minutes without a chat message. Product prices and payment credentials are not saved in that conversation memory.
A signed visitor cookie lasts one day for session security and abuse prevention. Short-lived request counters use hashed visitor or network identifiers, counts and expiry times; they do not contain chat messages or raw IP addresses.
