When freight shipping applies
Most Marqata orders ship by standard parcel carrier. Larger or heavier equipment — including some mowers and multi-box items — may ship by freight carrier instead. The shipping method for a specific product is shown on its product page and confirmed again at checkout.
Delivery
Freight shipments are typically delivered curbside, to the end of your driveway or the nearest accessible point for a freight truck — not carried inside your home or garage unless a white-glove service is specifically purchased. Bring a second person and basic equipment, such as a hand truck or ramp, to move heavier items from the curb.
Scheduling
Freight carriers usually call or text to arrange a delivery window before arriving. Someone needs to be available to receive the shipment and sign for it; a missed delivery may result in a redelivery fee charged by the carrier.
Inspecting your delivery
Inspect the crate or packaging before signing. If there is visible damage, note it on the delivery receipt and photograph it before the driver leaves, then contact support@marqata.com within 48 hours so we can file a claim with the carrier.
Delivery time
Freight delivery generally takes longer than standard parcel shipping — typically 7–14 business days after dispatch — due to the additional handling and scheduling involved.
